        andBeyond Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp-

&BEYOND Grumeti Serengeti River Lodge is located in the remote western reaches of the Serengeti. Due to its far-flung location, there are very few lodges in this pristine section of the park, which means that guests can expect the ultimate in exclusivity.

The lodge is perfectly situated on the banks of a tributary of the Grumeti River. Using the natural bow shape of the river, and paying homage to the circular forms of a traditional Masai manyatta, the lodge unfolds to reveal an understated sense of luxury.

Walking into the guest area upon arrival is a real wow moment. Spacious decks are perfect for enjoying sundowners overlooking the river and the camp’s rim-flow swimming pool provides a view of the seasonal hippo pools below. The proximity to water draws a profusion of wildlife throughout the day and night.

Touching the earth lightly and seemingly floating across the landscape, 10 nostalgically elegant, and very spacious, guest suites offer natural light, an enormous bed, bath, an indoor shower (with a spectacular view), and sparkling private plunge pool. A new family suite has been incorporated featuring a small additional bedroom attached.

        Wellworth Ole Serai Kogatende-

This Luxury Camp is strategically located within the northern (Kogatende) area of the famous Serengeti National Park in Tanzania and is set amidst the most prime areas of the Serengeti following the path of the great migration, sparsely inhabited by large Acacia as well as Tortilis Tree’s and is home to several species of wildlife that reside in this area year round due to catchments of water bodies around the area. Due to the Campsite’s ideal location, the great spectacle of the world-famous annual migration can be witnessed almost as close as to the camp’s doorsteps – since the site lies along one of the main migratory corridors/routes, which the wildebeest use during their Great Migration going to and fro the North and South of the Serengeti.

The Rooms and the Guest areas have been specifically designed to offer the Guests an optimum 180-degree view while on their bed or while enjoying their meal or drinks and to bring them as close to the nature as possible from the covered verandas. These stunning views embrace the sparsely spaced Acacia Tortillis Trees with the abundance of animals in the vicinity making the experience awe-inspiring.

        Olakira Mara Migration Camp-

The mobile Olakira Migration Camp follows the wildebeest migration around the Serengeti, from the epic river crossings in the north to the southern plains where they give birth to thousands of calves each year.

Between June and October, Olakira is in the north to witness the crossing of the Mara River. Here, watch thousands of wildebeest take a leap of faith into the water, facing hungry Nile crocodiles and cantankerous hippos. When the herds are on the move, the air is full of grunting, thudding hooves and billowing dust. From December until March, we move camp to the southern plains of the Serengeti, where the wildebeest go to give birth and graze on lush grass, and predators such as lions and cheetahs gather to prey on the young.

Even at night, the Olakira Migration Camp experience is special. Our mesh-covered stargazing tents allow guests to sleep under a sky of glittering stars.

        Karibu Serengeti River Camp-

The River Camp is loved for its excellent location surrounded by Acacia trees and grasslands accommodating the residents around the area. It purposefully resides a few meters from the Mara River, where the picturesque River Crossing of the great migration occurs from June to October. Here, the fight for survival is eminent when you are caught off-guard with just how dramatic the crossing is, with hundreds of thousands of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle toss themselves into the river overcrowded by the Nile crocodile ready to attack and feast on them.

Lions and hyenas are also found in great numbers as they also seek to feast upon the weak links of this ferocious race. Our 15 luxury tents all possess incredible viewpoints of this scenic attraction and how hospitality accommodates your experience with outstanding professionalism and detail. The dining and bar lounge areas are perfect for spending our time enjoying the savannah grassland whilst being pleasantly accommodated with our amenities. Fine wines, cold beers, and gourmet meals are our specialties when offering you an experience of a lifetime.

        Mara Under Canvas-

Mara Under Canvas is the closest camp to the river Mara where each year enormous columns of wildebeest cross the river, negotiating the jaws of the hungry crocodiles, in order to get to the pastures on the other side in what could be considered the climax of the Great Migration.

This luxury temporary camp is open from June to November. It allows visitors to be in the proximity of the Great Migration and to be able to explore remote areas and the beautiful settings of Seregenti with a large amount of resident fauna.
